Adam: I wore my O HAI/KTHXBYE t-shirt to a science fiction convention this weekend and got a lot of attention. I evangelized to a number of people. And some people even recognized K&P!

No, the one in San Jose is an anime convention only.
I was at the science fiction one (you know, with the books and the scientists and live-action video and Klingons and booze) in Santa Clara.
So, even much more remarkable! (But not totally unexpected b/c the membership spends much time online and loves kitties)
The shirt was a hit at BayCon in Santa Clara, which was 8.4 miles from Fanime in San Jose.
